How does billing work?

Each plan includes a number of monthly stops, which are renewed on the 1st day of your next monthly subscription cycle. Additional stops used outside of your plan allowance are charged per stop.

Using additional stops does not require any action from your end. Spoke Dispatch automatically tracks your usage and will bill you accordingly.

A monthly bill will be sent to you automatically.

The total cost of your bill will include:

  • The base cost of the plan you are subscribed to

  • The cost of any additional stops charged at a price-per-stop rate

  • The cost for any SMS notifications sent

Example billing cycle

Month 1 - Plan base price

Month 2 - Plan base price + the cost of any additional stops used in Month 1

Month 3 - Plan base price + the cost of any additional stops used in Month 2

How to change your billing date

By default, your billing date is the date you created your account, but if you would like to set a custom billing date, you can opt for the 1st or 15th of the month.

You are only able to change your billing date once, and that change will be permanent.

  • Go to Settings > Workspace > Plan & Billing

  • Go to the Billing tab > Billing details > Billing date > click > Manage

  • Select the 1st or 15th day of the month and click > Save

  • Your new billing date is effective immediately

How to request a payment extension

If you need to request a payment extension to help with your business's cash flow, you can request up to 3 payment extensions per year to extend your invoice due date by 14 days if your account meets the following criteria:

  • Your account must have been active for at least 6 of the last 12 months

  • Your account can have no more than 1 pending invoice

To request a payment extension:

  • Go to Settings > Workspace > Plan & Billing

  • Go to the Billing tab > Payments > click > Request

  • Your extension request will be approved immediately if you meet the criteria

  • Your invoice due date will be extended by 14 days, but your billing cycle will remain unchanged
